re: is an online experience that plays on the internet as a place of purge. Many users find themselves posting on blogs or social media accounts to self-soothe - only for their most personal thoughts to be treated as data for a tech company's incentive. re: aims to offer an alternative to what we're used to, a true safe space.

Celine Lassus (b. 1999, Tampa, FL) is an artist whose work examines the cost of transculturation. They received their BFA in Studio Art from The University of Texas at Austin, where she was awarded the Joan W. and J. Cecil Rhodes Endowed Presidential Scholarship in Art. Working across new media, performance, video and installation, they draw on memories of a Y2K internet to create interactive digital narratives that critique the institutional barriers hiding in plain sight.
